New Life Restoration offer specialised Tile Cleaning and stone restoration services in Brisbane since 2002. We use a commercial high pressure petrol truck-mounted machine (see Picture). This machine is capable of high pressure and also extraction of waste therefore leaving much less mess - perfect for stone and tile cleaning inside your property.

We are fully insured and trained for stone cleaning and sealing and we are happy to quote in Brisbane.

We Need to Clean the Tile Before We Seal...

  1. Identification of tile surface type and sealers already applied to the surface. We need to identify which cleaning solution we can safely use on this surface.
  2. Carefully move most furniture
  3. Apply chemical to surface. Generally we will leave the chemical to sit for 10 minutes so that it has time to work.
  4. Rotary scrubbing with a commercial scrubber if required
  5. High pressure hot water from a petrol truck mounted machine. There is no mess, the dirty water is contained and extracted to our machine in our van.
  6. Drying with towels and air movers.

Unfortunately not all porcelain tiles are manufactured by the same standard. They are manufactured all over the world and they vary in dimensional tolerances. Therefore, installation methods, care, maintenance considerations and performance will vary! You might be asking:

New Life Restoration can clean and remove wax and grout haze from new porcelain tile installations. We can also Clean the tiles properly before applying aqua mix sealer. Many porcelain tiles will have wax on them to prevent damage during transportation. We can clean this wax and apply a porcelain penetrating tile sealer. Polished porcelain tiles are commonly laid with white grout. Over time white grout can collect dirt. New Life Restoration can provide a regular maintenance system necessary to keep the tiles clean. We are specialists in Slate Cleaning & Sealing in Brisbane.

New Life Restoration uses our proven tile cleaning process to clean slate. Slate is very porous and can easily be stained by many cleaning solutions. High alkaline cleaning solutions can cause cracks and pits in the floor. High acid solutions can also damage slate tiles. New Life Restoration uses concentrated stone and tile cleaner from Aquamix. This solution has a neutral pH and is safe to use on slate floors.

We will vacuum and remove excess dust and dirt before we rotary scrub and high pressure clean and extract slate tiles.

We Can also Apply Slate Sealer - We use Aqua Mix product, ideal for interior and exterior slate. Provides a stain resistant surface seal. Expected wear on this sealer is 3 years. Call us to find out more.
